Roman London

This book summarises twenty years of my archaeological excavations in exploring the Roman origin of London. It traces how London was founded around 50AD and became a self-governing trading city twenty years later and the capital of the Roman province of Britain, and finally died soon after 400AD when the Empire collapsed, until the Saxons re-founded London in the seventh century.
